With the 45-70 you'll probably be running three dies. My recommendation (and what I wish I had) would be a turret press. Lyman makes a decent one and Redding makes an excellent one (T-7 I think it's called). When you get into handgun loading you should invest in a progressive press but for rifles you'll probably get better results with a single stage. The turret press lets you save time in set-up by not having to remove and switch between dies. I see one in my future.
weird, I got an email from Wholesalesports today saying they do not sell the Forster Co-AX press. I also got an email from Forster saying they do. I see that Russels sports also sells them. Forster said they are totally out of stock at all dealers and are back ordered for awhile anyways.
