Reloading in an Apartment

Small space reloading

Does anyone on CGN that reloads live in an apartment or a small space? Whats your set up? (IE bench, space size, tricks) Pics and descriptions are the best.

Also, has anyone used the hand press made by LEE? are they a royal pain to use? Can you reload anything with it? I plan on reloading 9mm, .223 and .308.

I live in a apartment style Condo. After much consideration about coming up with a portable system, I went with a set-up in my alloted storage space in the underground.

I use one of these

with a 3/4 inch butcher block clamped on top that has a single stage and a Progressive on it.

Cart is $70 at IKEA

I have a house and a basement room but find I do more upstairs so came up with this. Pull it out to work for a few hours.
Roll it back in to closet when done.

I thought about trying something like this as well but do you not find there is to much pressure when resizing and your portable bench becomes unstable?

I have a bench made from 2x4s and 3/4 plywood, it's about 4' by 2', sits where a dining room table should be. Half my living room is gaming systems, computers and reloading area, helps to be single. I made sure to make my bench with shelving for storage, the shelf is just high enough to fit those Maxx scoop litter buckets underneath for brass storage.

That's a nice looking gun cart you made yourself Reg.

Thanks, it is nicely done. A friend made did it up for me, she has a real nice shop to work in. No room my place to do woodwork.

I thought about trying something like this as well but do you not find there is to much pressure when resizing and your portable bench becomes unstable?

The cutting board top helps a lot. Probably more sturdy than a lot of larger tables.
Might not use it for Precision Rifle but works just fine for Pistol ammo.
