Reloading in Ottawa

Like Ris said, check out Higginson's Powders but it's best to shop online and email, fax, or call your order in a day or two ahead of time. If there's no powder or primers in the order, then shipping is quick and cheap. If there is powder and / primers, the shippers have a hazmat fee. That's when I choose to go for a Saturday morning drive and get it myself.
Other that, LeBaron is about the only other game in town. The suits at Sail are absolutely against getting into reloading gear and components. I tend not to shop there. Oh, and the Stittsville range has a limited selection of bullets and they sell some gear. But they say they can order whatever you want.

I hear you! It would be nice if LeBaron's actually had the stuff in their catalogue in stock. It would also be nice if you could actually see what they sell up on a shelf while you're shopping. I don't know how many times I've forgotten to ask to get something and then left without even checking if they have it in the back room. Now I go in prepared with a list and prepared for disappointment. But even then, half the time they're out of stock and when LeBaron's goes out of stock on something, you know they'll be out until next year when corporate does their one big annual order from the manufacturers. And right now they're out of everything I would use for the reloading I do (.308, 300WM, 8mm). And I mean everything - no bullets, no powder, no primers.
There is so much less frustration (read none) when dealing with Higginson's. But they're an online / mail order shop - don't expect a store front with everything on the shelf.
