Hey CGN'ERS!!

I was wondering if anyone knows of a subsonic reloading manual.

I know pistol can be under 1000' and not called subsonic, but I'm hoping for long gun anyway.

Cheers,

BJ

Well, considering that 1000fps is below the Speed of sound until you get to 5,000' elevation, that would be considered sub-sonic in an awful lot of places.
There are lots of threads on subsonic rifle rounds here. Manuals don't really exist, but there is some info reduced loads on the Hodgdon site. It doesn't provide for subsonic loads, mostly we do that on our own after a fair bit of research and experience with powder burn rates, case capacity, bullet weight, etc.

Awesome, thanks. I used the hodgdon site for the 223 subsonic reload. I searched here 'subsonic' and there was one thread haha. I figure I did something wrong.

Trail boss has a good info on their site, too.
