But of an odd question. Does the case rim end up sitting on the cannelure of those 405 gr Campro bullets? I bought some and found that in order to get the recommended COAL the cannelure is always left out of the rim otherwise the cartridge is too short.
 
Do you by chance remember that the overall length came to? Thanks for including the picture by the way.

What brass are you using?

Trim length for 45-70Gov 'Normal' brass is 2.095".
Trim length for 45-70Gov FTX brass is 2.040".

good one! I figure when the target sheet is totally covered with masking tape it's about time to change it out those still got a ways to go yet.
