Reloading nickle plated brass

I haven't reloaded any 9mm before (or any handgun) and I have a bunch of nickle plated brass that I got from a guy I know. Is there any special tips or tricks when reloading this stuff or do I just treat it like regular brass? Thanks in advance.

Just as regular brass, but, flash hole is a little tighter thou.

The only issue I'm familiar with is the odd ringer, a case with the primer tube stuck in the pocket. The punch takes off the top of the primer and anvil, but leaves a tube inside.

It can happen with any brass, but I find it seems to happen more with nickel plated 9mm.

I've reloaded plated brass in three calibres, with and without necks - no problems, no difference.

Treat it the same as brass. Just look out for steel cases...

It's the same, not supposed to last as many reloads, but I've always had good luck with them.

I loaded probably 12,000 rounds of 9mm last year and about 500 of them were nickel plated, so you should be good.

Nickel plated 357 brass scratched my RCBS steel sizing die. Belling case mouth allowed nickel to flake off end of case, scratching die.. Carbide dies should be good.

I've loaded lots of .38 Special in nickel plated brass without any problems.

The only caution I've ever heard of is make sure cases are clean because any hard particles are more likely to score your dies when using nickel plated brass. I've read tests where nickel plated brass didn't stand up to as many loadings as regular brass too. That was with bottle neck rifle rounds though.
