Lockout die is not necessary thou. And those presses come with 2 measuring inserts lately, no need for pistol insert - it's included.

Can't be done. Titegroup for 9mm, and either BL-C2 or surplus WC735 for 223.

oh well, at least i only have 2 firearms so it should be easy to remember. I want to just have 2 safe loads, i doubt i will experiment too much.

Order a reloading manual and read it, cover to cover.

got one on order, always so much to learn, definately want to be safe though.

You will need to talk to a US lawyer if stopped by US BATF-LEO who have been known to spot-check Canadian-plated cars.

Foreigners cannot possess loaded ammo, primers and powder on US soil. Reloading equipment is not controlled. FYI, telecopic sights and some gun parts are controlled as well.

If the OP wants to verify, call the US State Department. I did, left a message, they called back and answered my questions clearly and gave me website info.

Better safe than sorry. Not worth ruining your life for a few bucks, sometimes (rarely) it is not even cheaper down south.

Yes, foreigners can possess and purchace ammo and components in the US PROVIDED they are there for a recognized competition (with an invitation from the competition) or if they have a valid US hunting licence from any state.

Ammo and components can not be exported from the US without an Export Permit from the State Department. (Don't bother calling ATF, or US Customs, they do not control exports). To get an Export Permit you must be an exporter licensed with the State Department to even submit the application to them. (There is only one, one time exception to this, if you are exporting as repatriation to your permanent country of residence outside the US)

In fact, export of ammo and components are treated pretty much the same as firearms.

The US exit checks are usually set up by Homeland Security, with participation by BATF, DEA, and others. Usually not much to do with US Customs.

Can u confirm that I am ok with just press and reloading tools, no primers, powders, etc. I don't want t be part if a takedown with my kids in the car

You're good if you have only tools. Any components like bullets, powder, cases sind streng verboten.
