How did the balls shoot and do you not need some lube for them?

try a .303-.305 round ball covered in grease placed into a full fire formed case(unsized) a small powder charge with enough fiber filler to take up the rest of the room in the case then place the ball in the neck the greae acts like a sabot and the ball can only grip the edge of the rifling this maes it act like a slow twist

I like the idea of the .305 bullet good idea.

They are lubed with a little vasoline before shooting.
