Reloading powder recommendations for 7mm REM MAG, 30-06, 300 WIN MAG, and 375 H&H MAG
I'm just starting reloading and I'm looking for recommendations for powder for these cartridges:
7mm REM MAG
30-06 (I shoot likely triple the amount of 30-06 as the others combined)
300 WIN MAG
375 H&H MAG (new to me, looking to load lighter bullets (235 to 270 grn) as I'm going to be using for deer and moose)
I did some research, but there is a huge amount of data to go through and I was getting "paralysis by analysis". I'm trying to select which powder I should by that will be usable for as many of the cartridges as I am planning on reloading. From my research, I should be able to get by with only stocking two or three types of powder (for now). I'm thinking the 7mm REM MAG and 300 WIN MAG will have no problem sharing the same powder, the 30-06 will likely work with the same powder as the MAGs, but it may not be optimal. I'm pretty sure the 375 H&H MAG will be needing it's own type of powder.
I'm thinking I can get by with Reloader 15, 19 and 22. I may swap out the Reloader 19 for IMR 4350 (specifically for using in the 30-06). One data point I'm having trouble with is trying to gauge the availability and relative cost of the powders in Canada.
I only have one reloading manual at the moment, SPEER 13th Ed. that came with an old unused RCBS reloading set I got. As I'm not shooting any SPEER bullets, I'm not sure how valid that data is.
