Reloading Press Lights

Is anyone else using these lights on their press? I found these at Budget Shooter Supply. It comes with the 12V light strip and power supply, about 6 feet of cord, a removeable switch and all the mounting hardware. So far, I really like the setup and wished I'd found it sooner. The press is a Rockchucker II

I have a light but it's meant for my Dillon 650, fits the center hole. Don't have a light on my single stage press. That light looks useful.

I didn’t know you could get them this side of the border. I have tossed the idea around but with my current setup I just don’t want the extra cables. I also think they are way more helpful on a progressive.

That said light is always helpful and I may pick one up for my rockchucker now. Thanks for posting.

I use a generic clamp LED light I bought from Ikea.
I can use it as task lighting on my 550, 650, Rockchucker, or somewhere else depending on what I'm doing.

I think it is the NÄVLINGE or something similar with a wired goose neck.

Just got a $15 led sewing machine lamp from Amazon that has a magnetic base. Meant it for the drill press and lathe but works great for the loading press too.
Might have to throw one in on every order until I run out of places for them.

I had some led lights on the back on the Forster press, that were shining straight out. Just mounted the other day some under the moving head, looking straight down. Hands down a better more viable solution.

10 min with a soldering iron, and $10 amazon led lights. Cut, solder, mount. Kinda tried to copy the $40 US light that they make for it. Mine only cost $10 and works just as good.

Part of a left over light strip and an old 12vdc wallwart. Cheap, cheap. Still have more strip left over if anyone wants some. Just solder on your power supply. Cost $0.00

Amazon is the answer. We all have dozens of 6-12v power sources in a box somewhere.

I don't have a light on my RCBS Rock Chucker, but I did put a LED bicycle light (horrors!) on my Lee Pro1000 that I got from mountain equipment coop (PTUI!!!) before they succumbed to the avalanche of snowflakes. It works well, and I replace the battery maybe once a year.
I use it to light up the third position so I can check powder level easily before seating a bullet.

I tried strip lighting on my presses with regular halogen lighting where I reload and I gave both up. I just hung a 4ft 40w 4000 lumens led shop light years ago and I can see everything great. Now mind you, you have to be okay with putting two hooks in your finished ceiling to hang the shop light.
