My first press was a Hornady LnL press. (The one you get with their beginner's kit.) For my .260 Remington, I am using Redding Series A dies. No, I am not measuring run out. Having said that, the way that the Forster holds the case and the dies allow them to shift a tiny amount so that they will automatically self adjust to be in proper alignment. What we're you using before? What kind of dies are you using in the forester? Are you measuring run out?
The big things that I noticed are that I am able to produce more consistent ammunition (After sizing, my brass is all more consistent, and when done, my COAL is much more consistent.) at a faster rate and that changing the dies takes only a second or two.
The results are also noticeable in the performance. I do not shoot competitively, but I did notice that my groupings were tighter with ammo reloaded on the Forster. The big thing though is the consistency from one round to the next.
Not sure if that helps or not. For any of the other folks out there with a Forster please share your thoughts.
