I am not sure if this has been covered here. A while ago, I purchased several lots of bullets from this guy, and they were great. Then he stopped shipping to Canada becuase of export issues.

Recently I went back to his site, and was redirected to reloading international, I purchased a small order of bullets.

He has both seconds, and a wide variety of match bullets from several manufactuers. After my order I recieved links to print out a purchase order, and a link for a pre-filled PDF of a Canadian IIC certificate. He included clear instructions and I faxed the forms to both, reloading international, and to import/export control in Ottawa.

One day later I heard from Ottawa, and only 10 days after that I recieved my approved IIC form in the mail.

I highly recommend this guy, the process was easy and painless, and his prices were great, compared to what i have to deal with in my area.

I will have my bullets, legally, in less than one month.

Some well known bullet makers sell "seconds" that are perfectly good bullets but are out of spec. They might be a little too light or too heavy, or a bit fat or skinny.

Bullets are made so quickly that there could be many thousands made before the problem is dicovered. With the cost of materials being what it is, the best thing the factory can do is sell them as brown bag seconds.

I have a bag of 176gr 30 cal Cor Loc bullets. No deer or moose will ever know that they are 4 grains light.

I have also seen seconds sold that were scrap. Better buy a few before buying thousands, just so that there are no surprises.

Which dealer, please?
 
Also, he is now selling "firsts" from Nosler, Barnes, and Barry's Bullets.

I bought from him when he was still allowed to sell on eBay and then after he had his new site set up. His service is second to none.
 
I feel bad for those of you who don't live 5 minutes from a WSS or similar store. The prices are pretty similar once you add in shipping and duty. probably cheaper.
 
Yeah, but that three hour drive-Edmonton or 'toon town is a beetch!
I too noticed the prices are close to P&D's, after the krap is figured in.
 
2nd's

This guys pricing on Barnes isn't any cheaper than buying them in Canada.
the real savings are on the Nosler factory 2nd's. FS

That's why there is either mailorder or friends in the city to take care of you. If I fly out from home I can't get to WSS in Calgary on the same day before closing. Edmonton might be doable in one day but it's a $1K touch for the plane ticket. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

I feel bad for those of you can't shoot deer or moose off your back steps while you are wearing nothing more than your ginch ...................... ;)

These "seconds" ar only seconds because they are left over/overrunns with cannelures meant for factory ammo.


I bought some and ended up paying a bit more than 1/2 price. That was before, when he would just ship them up.

No doubt his seconds are great value, and his first run bullets are the same price as the stores up here.

For some of us, there is no convenient store, with a wide selection. As well for specialty target bullets, there is no dealer near me, I have to order these by mail and wait up to 3 months. When they arrive I end up paying $3-4/box over the price I can get to my door from this site. I fully agree that we should support CDN dealers, but for many specialty bullets there are no local dealers to support.
 
We did pick about the worst time to start this enterprise. I can’t alter the exchange rate so the only thing I can do is adjust my prices. Given the circumstances we are all faced, I reduced prices 10% on Nosler, Berger, and Barnes and 5% on Nosler Seconds. Yes, this hurts the bottom line, but the only other option is to close up shop on the international retail business. I’m faced with a State Department registration in February and want to give this an honest opportunity to succeed because I believe in the long run there will be benefits for all. Here are a couple.

1) I can offer the complete line of bullets for all manufactures so the hard to find bullet can be found.

2) An export license is good for 1 year (the life of your import certificate). For those people that shoot a lot there is an option to submit 1 license a year. Basically, you need to project what you think you will shoot in a years time. You can then order off that license for a year and NO waiting or additional paper work as long as what you order is on the purchase order (covered by the license). You can order everything at once or 1 box at a time.
