Reloading shot shells

I have a garbage bag full of 2 3/4 12 Gauge shot shells, only shot one. Steel, not brass. I don't reload and was wondering if anyone can tell me if they can be reloaded, or if anyone wants them?

I don't want anything for them, just hate to throw them out if someone can use them. We do alot of clay shooting and won't bother keeping them in the future if they are of no use.
 
You can stick them up for free on the EE with a local pickup. You'd have to put your location to get any meaningful responses though.
Decent quality hulls (Remington STS, Winchester AA, etc.) can fetch you $.05 to $.10 each to reloaders if you have any of those.

On a note of shotshells hulls most are steel based now a days. The brass looking ones are brass plated steel the vast majority of the time.
 
I typically use federal top gun target loads for bustin clays (because they are cheap). I've noticed that they often split where they unfold from the crimp so they aren't any good for reloading.

Can the steel ones be reloaded?
 
Probably a typo. Steel based hulls can be reloaded just like brass ones. Some are aluminum or something and can have the rim ripped by the extractor and stick in the chamber. I've reloaded both steel and brass on both collet style sizers (Lee Load All 2) and compression style sizers (MEC 600jr).
 
Hi , new to the forum and to reloading . Does anyone in canada sell lead shot to reload shotgun shell. I can't find anyone who sells it.
