I'm off to Calgary next week and need some reloading stuff. Looking for Hornady bits and pieces mostly. Primers, powder and bullets on my list as well.

Don't have much spare time so I want to streamline the process and go to the best spot. Any suggestions?

Will go to Russels and Bass Pro just to have the experience.

Thanks,

Bass Pro has powder but cant sell it yet.

Wholesale and Russels hardly have any selection of powder or primers.

Where are you from and what are you looking for?

Russells, Wholesale, TSE & Proline are your best bets and within minutes of each other.

Unfortunately you will need to scrounge based on where the market is.

Proline had some stuff on the shelf Sat. but they don't have a lot of room out front and I have no idea what all might be in back.

Most places seem to have pretty spotty stock still. Take a list with as many alternates as possible listed and see if you get lucky.

Yeah, I was in Bass Pro about a week and a half ago and they didn't have Varget or H4895 - but I did manage to pick up a case of 45acp.

It is day to day with a lot of inventory in every shop, hence the comment about scrounging.

Thanks guys. What does TSE stand for and I didn't find Proline in my 411 search. Do they go by others names?

TSE = The Shooting Edge, they are a board sponsor. Click on their ad above for more info.

Proline's full name is Pro Line Shooters and is in Inglewood, map at http:// maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=pro+line+shooters+calgary&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=31.977057,36.826172&ie=UTF8&ll=51.049812,-114.030876&spn=0.049532,0.071926&z=13&iwloc=A

lately wholesale has had quite a bit of reloading stuff (even got some Reloader 22) there a few days ago... very surprising if you're willing to wait in line for a while to get it.
Otherwise, Russell's it is.

Was at TSE today. They don’t have anything. No brass, no powder, limited selection of bullets (verry little) only have some .50bmg primers.

Wholesale has lots of bullets and brass. Not much for powder or primers that I seen (they may have more in the back. I did not ask). They have lots of equipment. I picked up an RCBS concentricity gauge today.

These are within minutes of each other if you know where your going and not in rush hour! I had a crappy map and it took me some time to drive by each one and back track:redface:

Russell had some Hornady stuff that I was looking for so I spent some money there.

Found the Bass Pro Shop on the way home at 7:00 am in the morning, Oh well next time.

The traffic in Calgary is crazy, glad I don't live there!
