Reloading Supply Shortage in Calgary?

Ive used WSS in the past.....their mail order system is perfect if you only want 10% of your order and have the rest back ordered. Never again.

I found out if you want something from Forster its quicker to order directly from them.

I actually ordered the RCBS Universal Hand Primer from WSS Online right after I started this thread. I received an offer to buy a very very lightly used one from a fellow CGN'r about 10 minutes after ordering the one from WSS. Needless to say I put money in the pocket of a very nice Gun Nut instead of those tw*ts at WSS. Good thing too since when I called to cancel my order they said they were out of stock anyways!!!! Thanks for letting me know WHEN I ORDERED you crooks. Gawd.

Is anyone else having trouble finding reloading supplies in Calgary or their home town? I'm not necessarily talking about components but presses, dies, case prep tools, hand primers?

I went to WSS and The Shooting Edge a few times this past month and they both said they are waiting on shipments. In particular I was looking for a Lyman Tumbler, Lee Classic Turret Press, Lee Deluxe Dies, RCBS hand primer etc etc (I am upgrading my current reload setup).

I ended up ordering everything off the internet instead of supporting local business but it is hard to support them when they have nothing to buy.

I am still looking for a RCBS Universal Hand Primer FYI.

There ARE other shops in Calgary that DO have stock on hand.
We have the hand primers in stock as well as the Lyman tumbler, 3 brands of presses, as well as dies and a host of reloading accessories. Just NO Lee stuff

I went to buy a rifle on thursday from a local store and nothing in stock so I called out to a shop and hour west of the city town starts with an E ends is Wistle. Talked to the guy on the phone told me he had one in stock. Asked if I could purchase it. He said yes perfect told him I would be out in an hour or two. Well he says well how about I ship it to you. I ask is it free shipping he says no $35.00. Well guys I don't know about you but I could drive there and back and for less than that as well have the gun in myn possesion. So I said no I'll swing out and grab it he told me hes leaving for a gun show in Drayton valley this weekend and if I want the gun I can go down to the show and purchase it from them there. Well I am sorry to say with service like that I went to cabelas and ordered it online for cheaper price plus got a gift card to boot for some new reloading dies. So sometimes people have stock and they make it harder to purchase.

Last time I was at ATR I didn't see any reloading stuff. Of course I wasn't there for reloading stuff so I wasn't exactly looking for it either. Next time I need some gear I will give you guys a shout to see if you have it in stock. The NE is a bit of a drive from where I live. I am interested in your bullet selection though. I will have to surf the ATRS website again.
