Guys I'm just setting up my LNL AP and a pure newbie to reloading but looking forward to it!!! My question is I've purchased a case of the Norinco 223 and wondering if anyone has reloaded the brass before? I can't even tell who produced the brass so I can look up some recipes!

Not sure if it's like the 7.66x51(.308) or 7.62x39 but their berdan primed, if you tried de-capping that with a regular die, you will have a bad day in know time, with a broken de-capping pin. Quick way to find out is to shine a light down a fired case and see if its a big boxer primer hole, or if its just two little holes in the bottom, if it's just two little holes it is berdan primed, and you will need to use a hydraulic press to removed the pin, and then shape and resized the case without a de-capping pin installed.

I reload them just like any other 223 brass. I reload range pick up brass. I load with a Start load because CQB does not involve any long range shooting that needs high velocity. The Start load cycles the action in all my different 223 gas guns.
