Does anyone have any load data for a 2.5 inch 12 gauge? I acquired an old Husvarna with 2.5 inch chambers. I don't want to change to 2 - 3/4 but I haven't been able to find load data.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hodgdon publishes some 2.5" loads in their hardcover shotshell data book. You will need a roll crimper and over shot card for those loads, easy to obtain from Ballistic Products - Will Bilozir in Alberta is the dealer. BP also publish loads using their own components. I've loaded some short shells in both 12 and 16 gauge, it's not difficult, and the loads shoot good.
An alternative if you are in a hurry is to buy some Kent Gamebore shells, they load the short shells for old lightweight doubles. You can order Gamebore from any dealer of Kent shells.

X2!
I have both the 2 1/2" Kent ammo and have loaded using the BPI data, love their stuff!
You can get a 2 1/2" adapter from Mec, if you have a Mec loader, will sells them also.

Thanks for the input. I intend to hand load using "antique" equipment. All hand tools. I have a roll crimper as I intend to shoot the brass shells. I will check out Ballistic Products.
