reloading troubles for my .300wm

It's as far down as it will go. When the shell enters the die there is still about a half inch of the shell sticking out and then there is an extreme resistance
Could it be that you have a 300WSM sizing die and not a 300WM die? This would explain the case not going into the die all the way and the decapping pin unable to remove the primer with normal adjustment. Check what it says on the die body, if you got these used someone may have sold you the wrong die.

Are you lubing inside the case neck? You should be. Use a q-tip to put a lightly coat of lube inside the case mouth and it should resize smoothly. It sounds to me like you're not lubing the case properly or you're using the wrong dies.

It shouldn't be that hard. Get the ram all the way up, screw in your die until it touches the shell holder, screw in your die another 1/8-1/4 turn more, make sure your decaping pin is sticking out about 1/4" pass the mouth of the die, lightly lube your brass and start resizing.

I'm guessing that lubing inside the neck probably fixed it. Which brings me back to my first post suggesting the OP take a time out to re-read the manual and look at what he's doing. Resizing without lube is a good way to get a case stuck and that is a real pia that you want to avoid at all costs.
