Reloading using norinco 223 brass

Getting into reloading and trying to build up my brass and ammo supply. I know the norinco ammo is decent for plinking, but what quality is the brass?

I'll be reloading for a semi auto, and used for target/gophers.

Worth buying in bulk and saving brass for reloading?

Or keep buying federal and saving brass?

Actually the brass reloads very well. I have some from the '80's that I am still using and I couldn't tell you how many times I have run it through. It is decent enough for the price.
 
I thought they were crimped and IIRC Canada Ammo said most aren't and some have a 3 point stake. Speaking of course about recent imports. At any rate, its easy to deal with in lower volumes with inexpensive tools. If you've got a lot to deal with then look at some of the better swaging tools. I use a Lyman reamer and uniformer. The reamer will open up undersize pockets if you have any whereas a deburring tool will not. If the pockets are shallow then uniforming will get them seating below flush. The uniforming is slow going so I chuck the toolhead in a drill. If you've got more than a few hundred then look into a swager.
 
I've run into a few Norc brass that needed to be reamed/swaged. I've also had a few Winchester brass needing to be reamed as well. Failing to check usually ends up with the odd busted primer.
 
Norinco brass are garbage, You can sell it to me for $30.00/k lol, all my Norinco brass doesnt need swaging, but I have a Dillon swager on hand.
