Reloading where kids spend time?

First thing I'd do is get you and the kids in for a baseline blood lead level. Follow safe practices, clean up and wipe with a damp rag \ mop.. Don't shake it out, bag it, and when you want to clean it, take it to the car wash kinda thing. Once you get lead into your system, it takes a loooonnnnggg time to get rid of it and it's expecially dangerous to growing kids. Get tested every 3-6 months, and you'll know if your methods are good enough..

Not sure about the Lee Turret, but there single stage pres has a cavity in it that can route the punched primers out the bottom of the press. I drilled a half inch hole in the bench, under the pres and screwed a soup can onto the bench, under the bench, to catch the primers and most of the residue. Old primers get tracked around house in shoe treads and can really chew up the floors. Don't piss of the boss.

You can buy a decapping tool and punch the primers out outdoors, clean primer pockets and brush out the inside of the case necks out there too, thats the messy stuff, as for the powder that always gets spilled a little, a big shallow cookie sheet might contain any spills.
