Reloading, where to start ?

Lee's classic Cast single stage press is a rock solid bit of gear. I use mine now, but used to use a Lyman convertible press (bench mount, or hand press use) that made that Lee hand press unit shown above, look like a really rock solid bit of kit. Shot a lot of gophers and deer with the ammo I made with cheap tools!

I like my Lee Scoops, used them exclusively for a lot of years before I got a scale, now, mainly use them, but use the scale to check about every tenth or so load. Occasionally I will weigh every charge, I still use the scoops to move powder on to the scale.

The Lee Hand Primer has been dead reliable, even if I have to sit and figure out how it goes together each time I dig it out.

A little RCBS 1010 or similar balance scale is a decent investment, and cheap enough.

Last factory CF ammo I bought was on sale for $7/20 rounds, for .308 hunting ammo. Dunno what it's supposedly worth now, don't care either, as I have no need of the stuff.

Cheers
Trev
