Deaner and I went out to our buddy's today to try out some 44 mag reloads. 11.1 gr Unique under a Lee 240 gr.TL. Very nice load to shoot out of those little carbines.

At 40 yds. the bullets tumbled out of Dean's Browning 92 and stayed round hole out of my Chiappa 92.

It was a bit too cool and a light wind blowing to get right down to some serious target work. I'll finish the box off in my Chiappa. :)

Next plan is to try Cactus Plains' 200 gr. RN with a Unique charge. The LEE cycled flawlessly in both rifles.

When I still owned a Browning M92 .44 mag, I found the bore way oversized, about .432" It was useless with any cast bullet I tried in it. My Chiappa has a more normal bore diameter, I believe it is .430" or thereabouts. I can shoot bullets sized to .431" in it with no leading and good accuracy.
