So, I bought Mesa Urbino from a site sponsor (DST) for my 1100. The instructions say to re-use the factory hardware but the Urbino is a short LOP so the Remington action tube nut is way too long to fit under the buttpad. Mesa supplies a nut but it is metric thread for use on a Benelli. Any idea where I can find a regular 11/16-32 nut ?
Here the factory nut and the (wrong thread) Mesa nut.

There is no part # on the stock itself, but the box label is Remington. The stock fits correctly to the receiver so I think it is the right one. I'm surprised nobody has had this problem before, I guess most people put them on an 870.

That was my first call. They had no suggestions on how to remedy the problem. Luckily Reliable had a long nut that I cut down to the correct length. The Mesa isn't a cheap part and I'm a bit disappointed that neither the retailer or manufacturer could offer any help and with the extra running around I had to do in order to make a brand new part work on the gun it was designed to fit.
