Rem 1100 value?

Hi guys
A guy called me today asking about placing a selling price for his firearms. None were a real problem apart from a Rem 1100. Over the phone he told me that it is chambered for 3' and has a fixed full choke. He bought it new and fired less than a box(25) of ammo through it. He says it's in mint shape, but it's the fixed full thing that I'm not sure of.
Any assistance would greatly appreciated. Thanks

mmmm.....I'd say mint cond: 500, subtract 150 for the full choke (thats what it'll cost to be reamed for steel)...add 25 for the three inch...so 375.00

Wrong Way - If your paying $150.00 to have a choke opened up your paying way to much. Going rate around here is $50.00 to open a choke.

$ 50 per barrel is about standard.

In the greater Vancouver area expect $75-$100 to open choke. I agree with $400.

$35 and tax in my neck of the woods!? Seriously though, $400 is about the going rate for an excellent condition 1100.
