if it doesn't cycle with target loads, have a gunsmith open up the gas port a bit.

It was designed to do 2-3/4" magnum shells reliably. It will probably cycle standard field loads as well, but perhaps not 100% of the time. I wouldn't hold my breath that it could handle target loads. But I'm just going by experience with my 20 ga. magnum gun.

yep !!!...i use mine for trap, with trap loads...no problem with ejection !

The 3 inch Remingon 1100's I have seen have had no problems.
