i recently picked up a parts rifle 597.its missing a bolt assy...no idea what happened to it. does anyone know where i can get one?
Anyone have any cool ideas as to what i can do to it as far as conversions like shorter barrels or changing it to .22mag maybe?. i didn't pay a lot for it so i got room to spend.

There was a guy that bought a Airsoft G36 body off ebay and popped a 597 body into it.. pretty cheap modification. looks like it fit pretty good.

I have one without trigger assembly. (a trigger job was screwed)

I can sell you the rest or I would by your trigger assembly. Other than that I have no idea but it is a cool little rifle.

Gents,
It seems we have a bunch of parts but no working gun. Let's help each other and make at least 2 guns work.

1. I sell the complete action to drslav and the barrel/mag to DMcFaul
2. one of you sell me the trigger group and the missing part to the other guy.

Assuming a whole working 597 costs $220 what would be the fair price of what?
