Rem 600 338 Fed build final complete

This is the BEST shooting Factory load I have ever shot in my Tikka 338 Fed is this one .
Not only does it achieve 2700 fps it will group 3 into 3/4 “ consistently
Bonded bullet too ! My Tikka SS Lite weights 6-15 oz ready to shoot with a Vx3 2.5-8 Leo on it and its pretty barky with the 200 grers .👍

Stopped at my LGS today and look what they had 2 box’s of! Guy on the counter seemed surprised they had any
They also had 2 box’s of federal 180gr acubonds that I almost bought as well.

Time to start reloading. 308 brass is very easy to resize. I did 30 pcs up to 358 on the weekend. Clean and lots of lube inside the neck and the RCBS sizer die did the rest.

That's a good job you did saving that rifle, looks great, and a great cartrige, my favorite. I'm shooting 200 grain Trophy Bonded Tips in mine at 2625 fps with a .22 inch barrel. It works great, got another nice whitetail buck on Monday with it, and took a nice young bull last evening. Both one shot through lungs, no tracking required. You'll love how effective it is, big performance for a modest recoiling round. Cheers

for sure, have the dies, press and a bunch of 338fed brass collected. have a bunch of 308 brass as well saved up.
Shoot some factory stuff for now while collecting things

I'm going to use the resized 308 brass for working up loads and the proper head stamped brass for hunting. 358Win brass is hard to find.

I had KS Arms in Edmonton build that for me, their 3 lug SAR action, with fluted #3 barrel 22", Trigger Tech Trigger, HS Precision bottom metal and mags, bedded in a Wildcat Composites Tac Hunter stock, Talley lightweight one piece rings with recoil lug, and topped with a Zeiss V4 Conquest 4-14 x 44mm, illuminated. The scope is more magnification then I needed, but it's always on 4x or 6x. All in weighs 7 lbs 11 oz, unloaded.

That sound like a sweet little combo you built there!
