Rem 700 .223 VSF...nice group!

This is a mid 90's Remington 700 VSF in .223.
Has the HS Precision stock and fluted 26" barrel with 1/12 twist.
I tuned the trigger and had Dennis Sorensen do a re-crown on it as the factory crown was a little funky.
Tried a ladder test today in .5 grain steps from 25-27 grains of H335.
Bullets: Hornady 50 grain VMax
She seems to like 26 grains...5 shot group at 100 yrds measured .222".
The red diamond in the center of the target is a 1" square.

Nice. Now go out and fire 5 consecutive (5) shot groups to really see what the load is capable of. Then, move out 200 yds. and repeat as above.

That my friend is the plan! I'll post an update next week and we'll see if she can hold tight groups.
