That gun shoots like crap ! Why would you want to keep it around ? I would sacrifice my cash to alleviate this burden from you and save some other guy the grief of owning it also.
Yes I know I'm a saint !
Well that's it then you can just suffer with that gun and keep it ! I don't want it.
I have to go now to the EE forum to look for one just like it, dang it all !
LOL
Enjoy that lil gun it's a dandy !
Regards
I'd love a matching rifle in 6.5x55.I picked up a take off barrel in that from a Classic at the Calgary gun show last spring. Can't imagine why they'd do that to such a nice rifle.Bore is mint! I guess I'll have to acquire a used long action 700 at some point and have it installed? Harold...........they also made one in .300 H+H
Now if I remember correctly the model 20 has a 1-14" twist? I had a 99EG with the same and it would put the now defunct 100gr KKSP into the same hole at 100 yards but would do about 1.5" with SP's except Speer which have the shortest available ogive in that weight.I used 87gr Hornady's for deer and only broadside double lunged them .Worked fine...........Harold..........IMR 4895 is also a cracking powder for the .250
I've got a couple little clover leafs with my M-77 250
I've also not kept a bunch of 1 to 1 1/2" groups
Curious what scope did you use to get that group?
Can you repeat it with consistancy
My choice of bullets for the M-77 & Sav 99s is Sierra 100s & 87s.
I prefer 4895 but lately been playing with some Bulk Hodgen which is showing promise.
