There is a reason that Remington doesn't put RUM's and SAUM's/WSM's in a DM setup. They don't feed very well, better to stick with the FP for a hunting rig.

I agree with blargon. I own two 300 RUMs and both have the floorplate. They work very well for hunting.

the mag conversion is from Remington, and it is centre feed, stacks the rounds straight up and into the chamber. No issues feeding at all. Also available for the short action ultramags.
