Rem 700 300RUM

Hey guys I got a Remington 700 Laminated Thumbhole/Stainless 300RUM.
Dropped it off at the gunsmiths the other day as I was never really happy as to how well it shoots.
He said he would true the action and float the barrel. He said no need to glass bed as the laminated is plenty strong to begin with.

I'm hoping to see a VERY good improvement in it.

Any thoughts???

I have a sendero in 300 ultra shoots great likes 185 Bergers and RL25 mine seems to like 180gr and up as they have a 1in 10 twist.

I would start by bedding it - then move on to other things if it still doesnt shoot. "Plenty strong" that made my day.

You got it in there...might as well bed it.

i would have bedded and adjusted the trigger before truing. if i was going to true the action i would replace the barrel as well.
