Just weighed it at 8.75 lbs scoped. Moderate weight for moderate recoil.:)

After shooting my .308's for a while today, I pulled out the .338WM to dial it in. Seems to like the new set up.... 225gr IB's with 68gr H4350 @ 100yds.

:) Wood and blue is nice and pretty to look at, but when I'm out in the bush I don't want to be worried about gouges in the wood and rust on the metal.:)
