LOL good luck with that. I searched for Rem 700 bolt for years with no luck. I ended up ordering a PT&G bolt which took something like 6 months to arrive and cost several hundred dollars.

They do.
They were fine tom deal with but it took months and months for my bolt to arrive.
The parts of the bolt that stop it flying out the back of the action are the two big lugs at the front end. The handle has nothing to do with that. Eve with the handle broken clean off, the bolt wouldn't come out the back of the action.
There’s been a bit of a change of plans.
He went and bought a Browning Xbolt SS today.
He’s still getting the handle welded though.
Said he’s gonna keep it as a wall hanger ,as it was a gift, or something.
I’ll post up a couple of pics of the job, when he gets it back.
Too bad it’s not a short action. I know where there is a new bolt.
I have a spare SA bolt, w 308 face. I looked and looked and looked and then finally ordered from PT&G and then 4 or 5 months into waiting for them to complete my order, I finally found an OEM Rem bolt body ... so I bought that one too. Couldn't find one for forever and now I have an extra one.
