Rem 700 going from hinge plate to mag fed system

I was just recently at a buyers show and legacy sports was there.

I did order a few of the kits to convert Howa/Vanguards and asked about the Rem kits I had seen advertised.

They didn't have them listed yet for Canadian order (as of 18th of November).

You might contact IRUN guns. They carry the ATI Howa kits (which is where legacy gets them). If anyone can get one of the Rem kits I suspect it would be IRUN guns - at least before they make it to Canada on a wide scale.

This isn't a "cheapie" conversion. By the time you get the product, conversion to Canuck bucks, shipping etc, you are looking at about 150 bucks for the mag/new trigger guard assembly. Then spare mags (either 5 or 10 rounds) run you close to 100 bucks each (again with dollar conversion/shipping etc).

They don't. I contacted "Shawn" who seems to be the guy in charge via email and he told me Canadian Tire in Calgary will be carrying them sometime soon, and to be patient. That's all the info he gave me

It sounds like they don't have any CDN retailers to me. Why would 1 CTC store carry them but not all?
