Rem 700 Hogue stock

There has been alot of talk about stiffening up one of these rifle stocks. Would filling the forearm of the rifle with bedding material make it signifigantly stronger?

Would help quite a bit, but if your going to do it, also put in something for extra support. Some guys use carbon fibre arrow shafts. Some use a piece of aluminium. It can be done but also look into a take off stock. They sometimes show up on the EE for about 200.
