I recently acquired a left handed Remington 700 sps varmint in 17 fireball. It's an extremely rare and hard to find gun in that caliber and I finally did. Anyway, my brother has a few hundred rounds of factory fireball ammo so I took it out to run a few rounds through it. This is where I have my problem, it cycles fine, but after I shoot the bolt goes up, then sticks for a second, almost like there's suction there, but after it releases the round flies out. I look as that brass and there's a little bit of a dent on it after it ejects, but the exact same as my brothers fireball and his is fine (it's the identical gun in right hand). Does anyone have any idea what or how I can fix this? I am the 3rd owner. The 2nd owner never shot it, not even once and the one before that I doubt if e did either as there is no marks or anything on it and nothing worn on the bolt as it it was shot a lot. Any ideas?
