Rem 700 Long Range - Case extraction and accuracy issues

Well, the verdict is in!

Sent the rifle to Gravel as per their RMA procedure. They sent me a response three days later and an invoice for the work (FREE!:d) under warranty, and tracking info for the return shipment.

Description of work performed is "Chamber re-cut and polish. Feeding and firing test".

Rifle is on the way back to me so I haven't had an opportunity to inspect their work or test fire yet, but overall I'm VERY impressed with their customer service and turnaround time.

Will be interesting to see how it shoots now.....

We have had three Remington 700 Long Range rifles all come into the shop with the same issue. All required polishing the chambers.

And how were they after the polishing?

I got everything put back together last night (scope, brake, etc.) but haven't had an opportunity to shoot it yet.

Well, the verdict is in......100% better!

Had the rifle out to the range this past Saturday. Feeds and ejects perfectly now. Accuracy MUCH improved (and that was with cheap factory ammo).

Now to start my handloads and fine tune things.

Kudos to Gravel Agency!
