Rem 700 mount?

I don't know if this is the right place to post this...

I have a Rem 700 Varmint Special with a Weaver V-16 mounted in Leupold rings and bases. Its been on there for years...
Now I am buying an AR15 with a flat top, but don't have the funds to go and buy another scope at the moment.

My question is.
Is there a 1913/picatinny type rail system that mounts to a Rem 700 short action?
Do Leupold QRW rings work on a rail like that?
Who sells a mount like that in canada?
