Rem 700 Mountain SS in Canada yet?

Have the new stainless synthetic Remington Mountain rifles made it into Canada yet? If so, what's the going price on these? I'd like to grab one in either 270 or 280... I haven't decided which yet.

Oh, and save the Remington bashing for another thread please.

I spoke with Cabela's in Saskatoon a few weeks ago and the counter guy had no information as to what they were or when they would be in. I showed him the catalogue which lists them at $999.99.

I'm hoping to pick up a 270 and a 280 as well if and when they come in.

Yup, handled it a couple times,..it's a 7-08 at $999.99 IIRC

Not as light as I expected either. Toss a few more bucks on the counter and get the Win M70 Extreme Weather.
