So im building myself my last little rifle, and I'm only missing the stock at this point. I'm on budget so far and have zero intent on going over it. I only have about 200-250 bucks for a stock left and our EE here has stuff that's been impacted by the fictional covid inflation so that's a no. Not interested in the tacti-cool chassis things as those are obscenely priced and weigh too much. I also intend to stick with the hinged floorplate.

Would anyone happen to know where I might find other Equipment Exchange forums or places that might sell used/take off gun stocks? Looking to find a takeoff 700P stock, 700 5R stock, HS Precision stock, Grayboe Terrain, or at the very least a Bell and Carlson M40.

Any and all wisdom yall might have would be greatly appreciated!

I guess youve got better luck than me, I did that for months and got zero results. Only people wo read the add offer stocks that were above the clearly marked budget and were promptly ignored.

used to see beaten ones go for 250, sold a few myself for about 200 as takeoffs. That was years a go tho. As long as its sound I don't care of its scratched, or flaming pink. Either way, im just seeking info at this point thanks.

You won't get a Bell and Carson for 250
Are you looking for long or short action ?
I just sold a Hogue Short action for $100 this morning, I'll have a short action MagPul Hunter next week in your budget as soon as my new stock arrives.

Appreciate it, really do but I'm not looking for anything plastic. And yes, you can get them for about 250-350 depending on the individual selling them. Even 200 in the states, but I'm not going that rout since exchange and the CBSA are gun-hoe for any5hing gun related. Maybe as a last resort ill get one off stockys.

I saw ONE hs precision stock for $250 and that was recently. I've bought and sold quite a few and always considered 300-350 for the low end and up to 450 for an HS stock. They really only go up from there. Hogue is you're best bet as it at least has pillars.

The problem is that your price is unrealistic. You may stumble across one of the stocks you’re looking for in that price range but it is highly unlikely.

Good luck with your search.

agreed if he does it will be really beat up and almost junk

buy less cigarettes and put the money into a stock

This is a little over your planned budget but FOC has a Boyd's Pro Varmint Laminate stock, in stock for $300, might be able to get it for less if it happens to go on sale. Last January I picked up a similar stock for $200, reg $300 for a project.

Again, not asking for opinions on my budget, asking for info.

I actually have a lead on a B&C stock NIB, but that might be a valid option, I appreciate that my good sir!
