Rem 700 Short action mag converter? Impossible to find?

I'v looked around forever on the web and come to the conclusion, Is a remington 700 short action mag conversion kit impossible to find? I see tons for long action. Or am i missing somthing?

What are you trying to convert?

If you are looking for a Detachable Magazine kit for a WSM or SAUM rifle, as far as I know, there are none. For standard short action cartridges, you can get a factory DM kit.

Sorry, yes I am looking for a detachable mag kit, Not not for a WSM just a short action such as .308, 243, 25-06. To convert my Remington 700 .308 so it can have a detachable mag

I have used the H&S one with WSM. works fine. Either buy WSM mags, or convert 308 ones. I have also seen AICS mags converted, though I am not sure what had to be done.

Alberta Tactical Rifle had both solutions in last time I was there.

I have an HS precision set ups on a 22-250 and a 308 that work good. I have also seen them come on a Cristiansen Arms 300wsm and 300rum(long action though).

I have an extra trigger guard with no mag if you're interesed. I lost the mag and haven't tried to find another one yet. It has never been installed. (I bought 3 and used 2)

I've also guys with other set ups too, like Badger Ordinance and Kwi Klip. Check into the Precision Rifle forum, there is lots of 308 info.

Reliable (sponsor) has SA conversion kit (pictures in a thread somewhere), believe Ed Begg / V-Bull Precision does too.

Yes short action. 10 round mags are available too for the SA's.
The conversion kits should be easy to find, lots of people put them on Heavy Barreled 308's. The kits aren't cheap though.
