Rem 700 SPS base price is $850 for 2016?

The Canadian economy is down, rifle prices are up....be patient with purchases, there will be deals out there. Only my 2 Cents though. :)

Right, and the short answer is to spend your CDN dollars here, which keeps our money in circulation.

To wit, the neighbours kids go to school, the teacher buys groceries, the store clerk gets a hairdo every once in a while, the the hair dresser buys some shoes, the shoe store manager purchases a used truck to use for hunting and fishing, the gopher on the car lot takes his girlfriend out for lunch, and the waitress goes to the gym, but first needs to fill up her car, where she meets the guy who...... and eventually it is back in your neighbour's hands, who decides to buy that used 30-06 that is already in Canada. :)

Now, I'm off to go ice-fishing using a Skidoo made in our great Canada and some fishing tackle, most of which was made in China. ;)

still think up to now the fish do not see the differences or the Canadian made are working better ... we need to make a study on that, what do you think Ted?

I got a great deal on a Ruger American 308 last fall that I still haven't even shot. I really didn't need another rifle at the time but couldn't resist the price. Certainly not a bad investment with our dollar tanking recently.

ALL of my tackle I use is made locally by Lucky-O tackle. Owner is a good friend and hunting partner. So, I ride Ski-Doo, and fish with Canadian made tackle lol.
 
He has been doing it since he was a kid, he makes a lot of specialty Muskie, bass and lake trout tackle now, but still does oodles of the regular stuff, jigs, spinners, etc....

He moved recently and has been setting up the new shop, but still getting business done as usual
 
good thing I don't need an sps. I was thinking of another cooper but there a $1000 more than I paid for my 280. I will be waiting.
