With a handload that works in your gun, it is quite possible. I havent got to shoot my 700P out to 600m, but with handloads(bullets seated long to compensate for the long throat), I have fired som .3ish groups, consistantly.5at 100 yards, so it is possible if you do your part.Wow....an apple at 600m. Well, ya it can be done but the trick is to pull it off on the first or second shot. I'm sure if you peppered 20 shots at it one of them should hit it. That rilfe probably has MOA accuracy so that means at 660 yards you should have, if everything works well, a 6.5" group. I'm guessing that isn't accurate enough to hit that apple at 600m with any regularity.
Sorry, but I have tried every kind of expensive match ammo I could find, nothing come close to handloads with my 700, due to the long throat, which requires seating the bullet long, whch you wont get in any factory ammo for legal reasons. Not only are the handloads far more accurate, but they cost me around 75 cents per round for match grade ammo, instead of 2.50 to 3.00 per round. And listening to these guys that say you need a handload to hit that is wrong. Just get some good match ammo (preferably BTHP 175gr, I like Black Hills)
