When SAIL opened up in Burlington last year I took advantage of the discount and picked up a couple rifles. a new .270 and youth 870 20ga for the kids and a VTR in .243win. Yesterday I put some glass on it and took it to BRRC to sight in. Its the first .243 i have owned and I am really impressed with it. Ergonomics are great, trigger was crisp and was a very comfortable shooter. Plus the kids like the cool barrel...lol. For the money a great rifle.

Nicely out to about 250yards as of this afternoon with decent groups.

And the point is. For the money and if you are in the market its a decent gun
