Hey gents I have a vtr 700 in 308 and I like the gun it shoulders and cycles nicely and the groupings at 150 yds were .75 but to make it a better lr rifle I was looking into getting a hogue stock to free float the barrel a bipod and to up the glass from a bushnell 3200 to a 6500 or a leupold or nightforce scope but it will in the end cost me so what I,m asking is it a worthy investement or should I look into a different rifle

get rid of the barrel. That - more than any other modification - will dramatically improve your potential for accuracy. All factory guns shoot the same, so investing in another gun is a waste. For the same money as a new gun, you could have a competition-capable match accurate precision rifle. Stocks are window dressing. Just have your existing stock bedded and you will be fine.
