RESOLVED see post #6 in this thread.

I have a Rem 700 SA which I installed a TriggerTech Primary on. After the installation, the bolt won't cycle to the bottom. I can hear the firing pin moving but when I try to fire live rounds the gun sounds as though it miss-fires and there isn't a mark on the primer.

ETA: in reference to post #6, the scope base and trigger group were installed at the same time.

Well, if the problem started with the new trigger unit, try replacing the original and see if it goes away. If it does, you will know where the problem originates.

Adjust in more over-travel. Check to be sure the trigger housing isn't being pinched when the pins are seated. The striker has to be able to move freely. If the housing is pinched, you can easily spread it back out by tapping agaist each side with a punch.

RESOLVED: The problem was not the trigger group. I also did a scope base upgrade and the 2nd screw from the front was blocking the full rotation of the bolt to battery.

You did the most common mistake...you are not alone... hundreds have also done that..

When ever tightening a scope base screw fully tighten it and see if the base is tight... then check for bolt operation... then loosen that screw and tighten the next screw... and see if the base is tight and if the bolt operation is correct... and continue on... once all the screws have been tested this way... tighten all of them...
