Rem 700

Hi, l have the chance to buy, good deal, a Rem. 700 BDL SS Synthetic
DM XC, in 260.
l haven't seen the rifle yet, what can anyone tell me about this rifle, suppose to be N/C only shot a few times. Looking at it for a new Deer Gun.

What's to know? It's a Rem 700 stainless with a synthetic stock and detachable mag. A fantastic rifle. if I knew where it was, I'd scoop you immediately and buy it out from under you. I snoozed and losed when they stopped making those; I wanted one in .280 and one in .260. I dislike the SPS stock; I find it absolutely hideous. Plus AFAIK, you can't get a Rem 700 stainless DM anymore.
Buy it. Buy it. Buy it or you will be sorry and bitter like me.

Rem in 260

Well, I have the 700 in VL 260 LNIB, and I've been thinking about one in a hunting model. The caliber is outstanding.

My one and only concern would be ammo availability. Other then that, sunds good (if you know how much others are going for)
