69gr SMK over Varget.

If you're looking for factory ammunition I would try Fed GM 69SMK. If you're looking for handloads I would try >65gr Berger VLD, Hornady Amax, Nosler CC, or SMK with RL15, TAC or Varget.

I use 75gr hornady HPBT in my tikka tactical with Varget powder. avg. between 1/4 to 1/2 inch MOA.

Start with one and keep going till you find what thou seeks.

Mine likes 50gr Nosler BT with Benchmark powder. Varget is a close second.

Factory ammo is a bit of a mixed bag. I found Remington UMC 55gr. FMJ to be the most accurate out of mine (out of the 5 I tested), but nothing comes close to my handloads.

I had great luck out of my 700 tactical with 55gr. Hornady v-max factory ammo and 75gr. Hornady bthp factory ammo, both half moa at 100 yds. Freakshly consistent for factory ammo. Only modification to rifle was glass bedding.
