Wondering if anybody had this happen to them.

Doing some load development for a 710 in .270 Winchester , the odd casing was not able to be extracted, had to send down a cleaning rod, just a couple taps and out it came.

NO pressure signs, nothing specific to load weights, just stuck cases.

Anybody else have this happen?

Factory loadings?

Could be a burr in the chamber or just requires a bit more finishing. Also, How's your extractor (clean and sharp or rounded), and check an see if it has some crud wedged in there too.

A fellow club member had to return one for a replacement a few years ago... It had a massive score in the chamber from day 1... It was very obvious on the fired brass as you could see where the brass had flowed into the deep gouge....
