Rem 760 in 300 Savage - replacement mags?

Yes that'll work fine I got a couple for mine yer good, plus 150 grain core lokt drops deer like a sack'a taters DRT! Somthin about a 150 outta a 300 just works like no other I don't know why, same from my gramps old Remington 81 and my uncles savage 99. I've seen em killed with 150 from 308 and 30-06 but they don't fold like they do with the 300... Just thought I'd share my observations seen quite a few first hand and through the sights.

They will work. Might not be 100% because the 300 sav. mag has a shorter bottom plate, different upper tangs and a rounded spacer (just ahead of the bottom plate).
Not huge differences but maybe enough to cause some occasional problems.

I would love a Rem 81 in 300 Savage. I doubt I would ever look at another deer gun if I could find one in my price range. Maybe a Winchester 71 or 95, but other than that, nope.

Didn't work for me in either 760 in .300, had to track down a proper .300 magazine
